Brief: Create an extended type specimen catalogue for one specific Colophon font family. The final outcome can be analogue (print) or digital (web-based) and should go far beyond an overview of the technical specifications of a typeface alone. In addition, show creative and original thinking in how to best display and communicate the distinct nature of a typeface to your target audience. The relationship between the typeface and the content should drive the concept, layout, design and production decisions.

Lydia is the typeface used and it is designed by Colophon.

Outcome: A printed newspaper specimen (290x380mm.) which presents the font Lydia in it’s intended environment as big, powerful and expressional to highlight the characteristic details which make the font unique and stand out.
