Visit: Modernism architecture in Hampstead

As an introduction to modernism design and architecture the tutors had us to meet up at the Hampstead station. From here we walked around in Hampstead and looked at modernism houses and buildings.

The most interesting building was the Isokon apartment building. Mainly because I had read the article about before we came (you can read the article here), but also because I think it is the one of the houses we saw that still had modern look, and wasn’t just a part of the old modernism building complexes, which is sort of dying. Not to say that the other was, but this was the one that was the most true to the modernism ideals and at the same time looked the best.
